I'm afraid his notorious murderer of a twin brother is running around old London sporting a glorious mustache much the same as the one you are envisioning. This man chooses not to grow that bit of facial hair for fear of being mistaken for the twin, although I agree it would be a fitting accessory, given the period in time.
