Who do you think gets rid of all those giblets? Medic likely takes what he wants and gives the rest to Pyro to feed on.

Plus it means Pyro never has to sit down with the team at mealtimes and show their face to the other mercs. Scouts are nice and stringy, and since Pyro likes to chew on the bones, it's good that they don't have any muscle in the way of that delicious marrow. They need to remember to take the dog tags off, though. Those things taste nasty.
