Na, while I do love Hollow Knight I never really thought of it until you mentioned it haha. There kinda based off of the idea that instead of halos angels have circular horns and when the circle is broken they are cast out and they 'fall'. I think I got the idea from a Flipnote but I really don't remember what it was :P anywho I just like playing with these two characters :B
