  toucanhahaha - what is this the doodleordie version of a reddit gold acceptance speech? Not to stab you in the ego (too late) but I'm thinking that the vast amount of time you've spent on this website for shiggles probably could have been better spent on .... i dunno... reality, getting life goals in order, ...friends?

  @bluegreenblack - You are probably right but drawing is a huge passion of mine, the only difference for me since I got a Dod account is that now I use my tablet slightly more often than my pencils. Also all my friends went on holidays, it keeps raining outside, my life goals are well in order and internet or not I've never been into reality all that much. So really ... my ego is trying very hard but it's not getting stabbed, sorry if I disappoint you ... Oh yeah, and English isn't my first language, I have no idea what a reddit gold acceptance speech is supposed to be and I can't find its meaning anywhere. What's "reddit" ???

  I've just reread what I wrote and I realized I actually sound kind of aggressive. I'm sorry I really didn't mean to, I get easily carried away. Was that ego explosion joke irritating ? I know for a fact that my humour is often heavy-handed.

  Sorry if I seemed aggressive as well. It's fine that you don't know what reddit is, in fact I'd highly recommend avoiding it. some parts of that place are only a couple steps away from 4chan (4chan is now synonymous with 'internet cesspool'). reddit is a site that is (unfortunately) primarily filled with young aggressive egotistic "western"-minded males in their mid 20s to early 30s age range. A very simple explanation for it is that it's like a forum organized around sharing content and commenting on said comment. Some people can pay money to put a gold star on your comment or post if they were amazed by it, which causes some people to go into an emmy-like speech of thanks. This happens so much people get somewhat irritated by this. I realize now that my irritation was misplaced, and more of a knee-jerk reaction. My apologies, carry on.

  It's ok, I get why you got annoyed by it, I'm glad we could talk it out. Actually you do have a point on me getting too invested in this site for my own taste lately, but I don't really worry about it because by experience I know I'll soon get bored of it and go get overenthusiastic for something entirely different ... like charcoal or something ...
