It looks like there's an issue with drawing strokes near the edge of the canvas: if I draw there and leave pencil out of the boundary the end of the stroke is not registered and simply hovering the drawing draws but everything is cancelled at next line. Is it just me? (using Chrome)
No. Not just you. I use Chrome as well, but I'm not sure if that matters or not. I also only have a desktop PC and a corded mouse, no tablet or stylus or tools, etc. That said, I can't move my cursor / make my strokes near the edge unless it's the largest of the drawing brushes and I'm doing a "fill" but anything small, such as a stroke or a line, disappears at the edge. Your artwork is fantastic!
@condimentia thanks! After Drawception I was looking for a good alternative; I've found this DoD but I've heard it's almost abandoned by their devs? (even though I see active users playing)
There is actually a remedy for that. I used to have that problem as well, but not anymore ... What you have to do is; whenever you drag the pencil outside of the canvas, be sure to never let go of the mouse/trackpad when you're outside of the canvas. Always come back into the canvas and let the pencil go then, this way you don't loose what you've just drawn. If you're cognizant of that it shouldn't happen anymore. Try it out ...
@Koala_ yes, unfortunately the problem remains if you're used to do quick line-shading (parallel single lines), or to blend different colours that way. So near the edges you're forced to draw continuous zig-zags (never releasing the pen outside) and it sort of breaks the pattern. By the way yes, nothing really critical :)
