  additional explanation: i got two strikes in said studio. one was for defending my opinion against another member who was being aggressive, which ended up in them pretty much flipping me the bird and leaving the chat. i got in trouble for pushing them to the point of leaving. the second strike was the one for "discourse fueling", which no one ever explained to me OR called me out on. i was told that if i wanted receipts i would have to seek them out myself. the current issue is that people take me serious when i make jokes and apparently even the leader thinks im an ass because of it. i only heard about this after asking if they took me seriously. it turns out they'd thought this for a long time, but never said shit to me. if people in the editing community are going to expect me to change but never tell me what i'm getting wrong, i sure as hell do not feel like i'm being treated fairly. i love making videos and talking to them but they don't do shit about my behaviour until they can't take it anymore and want me gone. i don't want to have to be endured in the community, but no one ever speaks up. i don't want to be in a community where i could get thrown under the bus at any time and need to walk on eggshells with everything i say because their warnings are all-or-nothing. sorry for all the text, and i know this is probably tl;dr even for the people who are interested, but i just needed to get that shit off my chest.
