Don’t do it. I never paid for my books (though I wish I could have ny name taken off my last one ) I will always go the traditional route. Get yourself a good agent (they don’t charge) … there are some smaller publishers who do still accept a direct approach. Please don’t pay. As someone said hybrid publishers are different from vanity press but I would try to avoid them as well. Good luck.
