I just imagine my brother, who is a skater, looking pretty confused when a giant weed leaf walks up to him and starts talking. My brother doesn't even smoke(to the knowledge of the school stoners, with whom we are both friends), so it'd be even weirder.

And yes, I consulted actual skaters for this, they don't say "fellow".

Yes, but you wouldn't want to say someone is looking it. It's not usually a positive thing. According to the skaters I talk to, at least, different groups might have different dialects of lingo.
