Soldier is so angry (for some unknown reason) that blood is pouring out of the orifices in his face. His teeth are also in very poor health.

A "MAGGOTS CRATE" lies in a pile of maggots. Scout's disgusted, but Soldier says, "Prepare to eat these for the rest of your life! Maggots!"
