  This is my hobby. I know you're talking about Derrick, but I've certainly put worse in some of these chains. So, like, it's a game on the internet that like 7 people regularly play? So like, if it wasn't for all of our trash hitler/rape meme posts, there would be no posts.

  Ah yes. Because 90% of this game is Hitler and rape jokes. Things I've seen very little of here except for when they get reported and people complain. Get out of here with that edgy, "you need me and my bullshit" shtick

  you do realise this place is a collaborative art game for all ages, meaning someone else's 'fun' isn't just sectioned off away from where people are subjected to it? hell if you wanted to do that, you could go make a whole other board or find one that was tailored to your Fun Style. not a public steven universe board? the concept that it's "Just fun!!!" is ridiculous too cause you're clearly doing it just to get a rise out of people :^)

  I play the game my boy. And mayhaps other people enjoy them too? My drawings are pretty okay friendo. But that's my hope. That others will find them funny. I don't really draw trash on here, or draw rape jokes or anything like that. So uh, what exactly am I supposed to not put on here?

  Draw and I are the keywords there pally. "Our"=/="I", draw=/=posts, friend. Derrick posts rape jokes, I write offensive Hitlery captions, which are trashy. The drawings, even when offensive, aren't trash. They're generally decent, I at least put some semblance of time into them, even if I'm not super into the prompt. Now, chainbreak? I don't chainbreak. I have nothing on here that can really be considered a chain break. Do I write something I might think is funny? Yeah, but usually I'll just describe an image or draw a prompt. Maybe add a weird feature. As for "purposefully offensive", I think you're missing the point, yeah? There are kids on here. Kids wont get my Hitler jokes, I can assure you, but when I was young, I didn't know what EITHER of those words in your name meant. I'd say for people who I actually care about, children, who you've already mentioned in your moral crusade against jokes, you're the more offensive of the two of us.

  i made a comment further up where i said that i made a room. and yes, you absolutely can be harmed by 'jokes'. just because something is a 'joke' doesn't mean it's not harmful. you can claim anything is a joke but that doesn't remove its damage. some people think swastikas in public places are funny jokes but it makes people feel unsafe and creates an atmosphere that's perfect for actual assholes to slip by because everyone's assumed it's a joke.

  are people seriously trying to defend the shitty humor people curse this site with? did any of you even read the rules of the game? someone says something, another person draws it, and then someone explains the drawing. You're literally doing the exact opposite of what the game is when you make it into something it's not by bluntly inserting rape jokes and other crude humor. It's not fun for anybody but you when you do that, and if you expect to get absolutely no backlash for that then you're a fucking idiot.

  jokes don't make people feel bad. that's the whole point of a joke. if you make a joke about something and it makes someone feel uncomfortable because it's a really bad 'joke', and you act like they're at fault because you can claim anything was 'just a joke!', it wasn't a joke at all. it was you trying to be edgy and make people feel like shit. you're just mad that we're fed up of it and that we're not playing anymore.

  My take on the matter is that this IS a room meant for a children's show. If those "jokes" were in rooms for Family Guy or South Park, then sure; it fits the genre. The same applies for shit involving porn and stuff; go do that in a specified room with like-minded individuals. In addition, if the jokes are not funny then they are not funny...ok "the cluster molesting a ruby"...okay 1)not even possible; 2) don't ruin our image of the cluster by equating them to a nasty molester; 3) I don't see how it contributed to the chain or even fit in the chain. <br />Really, do not do rape or any other abuse "jokes" because it is HORRIBLE and ABSOLUTELY NOT FUNNY; especially for people who have dealt with that kind of stuff.

See, the whole time, this debate has revolved around a joke I didn't make, and you keep throwing it back at me like it's mine. My point originally was that we posted enough to keep the room around. There would be days where no one was posting. But also, seriously, I would be more concerned about swearing in front of children than anything sexual or involving hitler. In case you guys don't remember, steven universe delves into rape, relationship abuse, and has overt sexual overtones. Why can they do that? Because kids generally don't even pick up on it. And if you look at the art in here, I can safely say there really aren't that many, if any, kids in here. Like, maybe two. But in general, nah. &lt;br /&gt;Basically, Steven Universe isn't a "children's show", it's a show made for around 12-18 year olds, which children can watch, but won't fully appreciate. This degradation of "It's a cartoon, protect the children" is absurd. You're really saying "Protect my feelings", which I have no obligation to do.<br />As far as "rape jokes aren't funny", the joke is NOT, nor has any rape joke EVER BEEN about RAPE being funny. EVERY rape joke, all of them, the joke is that RAPE is BAD and the comedian is oblivious and an idiot for not realizing that. That doesn't mean someone is "edgy", rape jokes are self-depricating humor, showing the the creator has no tact and is an idiot, but ON PURPOSE. See how jokes still aren't funny when they have to be explained?

Excessively offensive, because the image did not need said offensive wording to describe it. Chain breaking because that was not what was in the image and you did so intentionally. Now PLEASE find something better to do than bicker with a bunch of strangers on the internet.
