  Ok so "Valjean interrupting Valjean's proposal" I have no idea what the caption author meant to type, but I HAD to do something involving my OTP being interrupted by a random portal between universes. Then I was like, ok so they're getting married, this is modern AU, let's have the other VJ be canon-era (as well as 2012-verse) for contrast, ok what should modern!Cosette be doing..... I know, texting, that's pretty easy to draw! Then the main text basically wrote itself.

  Also bonus note on what happens next. Javert is like "ok first of all YES OF COURSE ILL MARRY U" and kisses vj, then he's like "second of all. theres???? another you?? in the wall???? and he's like from the 19th century?????? WHAT" and then I can't be bothered to actually explain the portal and deal with the problems it raises so let's just pretend that subplot gets resolved, anyway then javert's like "wait...... two valjeans......... *gets substantially redder* TWO VALJEANS.,,,,,,,,,, honey can i ask you something" and then Cosette is still in the same room so shes like "OH MY GOD DAD" and storms off as one does when one is a teenage girl who just saw her dads organising a threesome with an alternate version of one of them through an interdimensional portal (again, i did not think through the seriousness of the portal subplot so pretend i dealt with it)
