  Although they got link with birds, Their head skull and size scale still beat me up.<br />yeah, those fossil... but all the colors of Dinosaurs were imaginary.

  Only four dinosaurs have had a known color: Archaeopteryx, Anchiornis, Sinosauropteryx and Microraptor. Most colorations of dinosaurs by artists are based off of a mix of modern bird with some that fudged here and there. And as I said reference images help especially full skeletons and size comparison charts. With skulls the main things to note are the nostril, orbit and the antorbital fenestra.
