    paint bucket tool fills all, to make it a gradient alt click a second colour and drag in a direction

    what I do is left click on one color, right click on another color, select the fill tool, and click and drag on the canvas in whichever direction I want the gradient to go in. (uhh also this is my second drawing with a gradient because I JUST figured it out for myself)
