  as a violinist i can say that very few of the artists in this chain got the bow hold correct (i didnt either)

  airship i love you and you draw realLY attractive people but a violin has two f-holes (sometimes known as s-holes, theyre curly) and not a big round one in the middle. also, a person tends to hold the violin on the same shoulder as their non-dominant hand, which holds the neck of the violin. the violin does not go across the body; the player rests their chin on the chinrest. also what the fuck are you doing with that bow it is not a fucking sword come the fuck on. you do not, under any circumstances, hold it in a fist, ESPECIALLY not near the middle. you hold it with your thumb, middle and ring finger, near the frog, and the index and pinkie finger rest on the top. the bow, not the violin, /does/ go across the body, held perpendicular to the bridge, in between the fingerboard and the bridge. i gotta give you credit though, the hand holding the neck is (mostly) correct.
