  @toastyghost: I guess it'll be considered more like something else like a genuine art piece, a comic strip, an illustration, a concept art, a sketch, etc. Depends on the context really. Drawings in Doodle or Die aren't even genuine doodles either since you were given an instruction to draw something specific. Doodles are suppose to be these aimless drawings that you draw out of boredom to pass the time or when you're preoccupied with something else (like school or work). Then again one can also put a "shitton" of effort in a doodle.
