SAT scores are an important, but perhaps not the only criterion in deciding whether to apply to colleges and universities. Along with test scores, pupils' academic performance and achievements, motivation, extracurricular activities (for example, participation in community service jobs or volunteer labour ), hobbies and interests, along with letters of recommendation are all taken into consideration.
