Sometimes carriers have really good deals but I wouldn't buy directly from Verizon unless it's the better deal. Usually with my phone at least Samsung Note 20 ultra, I bought from Samsung directly on release day. Saved money right away and also saved money on a trade in promo. I think overall I paid something like $700 vs $1200.
